Castletroy Captain's Prize 2017

The inspiration for the Castletroy Trophy came about by working close with Captain and Greenskeeper of Castletroy Golf Club . Castletroy Golf Club is eighty years old this year and what a fitting piece of crystal telling the story of the club. The trophy comprises of three panels. Each panel houses a specific view .

Panel (A)  Containing the 2nd Hole near the old Church brilliantly reproduced by the old copper wheel methods.

Panel (B)  Containing the 16th Hole which is the newest edition to the club

Panel (C)  Containing the Casteltroy Crest / Logo

Greystones Golf Club 2013 Captain's Prize

Greystones Golf Club commissioned Iona Crystal to recreate the famous Greystones Golf Club founded in 1895 onto a piece of crystal.

We took up the challenge and using traditional methods of copperwheel engraving turned out this very beautiful crystal plate set into a solid piece of Mahagony.

Yacht Racing Trophy

This exceptionally detailed Yacht Racing Trophy is produced using the old traditional method of Copper Wheel Engraving.

Produced by master engraver Eamonn Hartley formerly of Waterford Crystal.

This is a one off Piece. Standing over 27inches in height and engraved with two yachts in full sail rounding a marker. It stands on a Teak base shaped like a wave cresting.

This piece of art is a testiment to Irish Craftsmanship and skill.

Iona Crystal are delighted to be involved in producing the 2013 Tramore Racecourse Trophy's . The race meeting which were held at the beginning of the New Year.

Special Commission Plate for Retiring School Principal

This Very Beautiful 12″ Plate was commissioned for a teacher who was retiring as a School Principal. We were tasked to reproduce the image of her school on to this specially designed plate. The engraving is totally hand engraved using copper engraving techniques.

The technology that we use to cut the crystal is state of the art diamond technology. The diamond wheel allows us to create very ornate designs that were very difficult to produce using the older stone wheels.

Dungarvan, My Hometown

Dungarvan my home town is situated in Co. Waterford, Ireland. It is a very cultural town with a vast maritime history.

It is an old port town guarded and watched over by King John's Castle established circa 1209.

As with alot of our product the inspiration and design for such pieces comes  from the area where I live to inspirational areas of our country and to its famous people.
